Carpentries - Introduction to R and RStudio

Data Carpentry develops and teaches workshops on the fundamental data skills needed to conduct research. Its target audience is researchers who have little to no prior computational experience, and participants will be encouraged to help one another and to apply what they have learned to their own research problems.

This is an introduction to R and RStudio designed for participants with no programming experience. The workshops start with some basic information about R syntax, the RStudio interface, and move through how to visualize data with the ggplot2 package, import CSV files, the structure of data frames, how to deal with factors, how to add/remove rows and columns, and how to calculate summary statistics from a data frame.
