CADRE 2025 Conference: Keynote, Workshops, Presentations, Student Poster Session

This year's theme is "Ethical Application and Regulation of Artificial Intelligence in Research and Education." It is an opportunity to engage in productive discussions about AI and its actual and potential uses in research and education. The conference is open to researchers, educators, policymakers, students, and industry professionals interested in AI’s evolving role in research and education. This year’s program will include speakers, panelists, hands-on workshops, and student poster presentations highlighting various aspects of AI, including use cases in research and teaching, ethical and responsible use, development of policies and guardrails, and balancing innovation with regulation.

We are inviting proposals for lightning talks (5 minutes + questions) and oral presentations (15 minutes + questions) on AI-related topics, with an emphasis on AI use and oversight in research and education.

The meeting will also include a student poster session with presentation prizes (1st place: $300.00; 2nd place: $200.00; 3rd place: $100.00). We invite submissions from any graduate or undergraduate student with an interest in problem solving using digital or data-centric research and scholarship. Special consideration will be given to students whose work incorporates or involves AI in some manner.
