Although a lifelong sewer, Adrienne Hyle didn’t begin exploring the craft of quilting until 2016. Since then, she’s created a prolific and diverse collection of work. Adrienne’s quilts tend toward bright colors and bold, sometime whimsical, designs that often feature embroidery. She prefers to focus her time on creating quilt tops, and she partners with local artisans who specialize in quilting to finish the pieces.
Now, students at OSU can try their hand at projects similar to the ones on display. In 2023, Adrienne Hyle sponsored the launch of the Heritage Arts Studio located on the first floor in the Edmon Low Creative Studios. This space offers a variety of textile arts equipment including sewing and embroidery machines.
