Honors Thesis Workshop - Managing and Synthesizing Sources Using Zotero

Managing sources for your thesis research can be messy and confusing, but we can help. Zotero is an application that collects, manages, and cites research sources. It's easy to use, connects with your web browser to download sources, and best of all it's free. Zotero allows you to attach PDFs, notes and images to your citations, organize them into collections for different projects, and create bibliographies. It automatically updates itself periodically to work with new online sources and new bibliographic styles. This workshop will provide an overview of Zotero and allow students to start their own free accounts and experiment with the various source management options available to them. Computers are provided, but you may bring your own device.
