Science Cafe: The Science of Colorful Foods and Whole Body Health

How to choose “our plates” is becoming a great health concern. Many of us consume foods that lack a variety of colorful and beneficial components such as carotenoids pigments. In this program, OSU nutritional scientist Dr. Dingbo Daniel Lin will discuss his research on the potentials of colorful foods and the bioactive compounds in the promotion of the gut and whole body health.

Science Café OSU is a monthly event that highlights interesting, relevant, and current science research. The events are an opportunity to participate in lively and engaging conversations about science. Each Science Café features a brief presentation by a scientist(s), followed by discussion and questions. Refreshments are provided, and Science Cafés are free and open to the public. No science background is assumed or required.
