On March 16, the Oklahoma State University Library will host a Library of Congress Veterans History Project training at the Edmon Low Library from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. The Oklahoma Oral History Research Program will provide training on conducting oral history interviews of veterans for submission to the VHP archive. Special focus for the event will be on documenting Native American veteran stories.
The workshop is sponsored by Veterans History Project of the American Folklife Center at the Library of Congress, hosted by the Oklahoma Department of Libraries and the OSU Library. This workshop is aimed at educators and employees of tribal organizations interested in interviewing veterans in their communities.
