Federal Statistical Research Data Centers (FSRDC) operated by the U.S. Census Bureau are partnerships between federal statistical agencies and leading research institutions. FSRDCs provide secure environments supporting qualified researchers in using restricted-access data while protecting respondent confidentiality. Researchers interested in analyzing federal agency microdata that are not publicly available may benefit from using a Federal Statistical Research Data Center (FSRDC).
This webinar will include an introduction to the FSRDC program and how researchers can participate, by Samuel Bondurant, PhD, Dallas-Fort Worth FSRDC Administrator, followed by John P. Schoeneman Jr., Assistant Professor, OSU School of Global Studies and Jared Stanfield, Associate Professor of Finance, University of Oklahoma, who will describe their research and experience with the program to date.
Federal data sets can support research in economics, sociology, public health, and related fields. Working with these sets provide unique research opportunities. Oklahoma State University and the University of Oklahoma are members of the Dallas-Fort Worth FSRDC. See the OSU Library guide on Federal Statistical Research Data Centers for more information.
