The Coalition for Advancing Digital Research and Education (CADRE) is inviting Allen Karns, Principal Cloud Architect at Vanderbilt University, to demonstrate and discuss the university's Amplify GenAI program, which allows institutions to develop and host their own generative AI platforms. This platform is in use by all faculty, staff, and students at Vanderbilt and is an open source tool, meaning it can be used and modified by other users and has been implemented by dozens of other universities. Allen plans to discuss why Amplify was developed and how it's benefiting students at Vanderbilt, as well as provide an overview of other aspects of Amplify such as capabilities, technical aspects, and cost.
