From Campus to Career: Data Literacy Skills and the Job Market

This session will overview the importance of data literacy and describe core data literacy skills. The instructors will provide examples of how data literacy skills translate to real-life jobs in a variety of disciplines and offer advice on how to develop your data literacy skills and articulate them when applying for jobs. Attendees will be guided in reflecting on their coursework, extracurricular activities, internships, and other experiences to identify ways in which they have already utilized data literacy skills and practice articulating them.
