The literature review is often one of the most difficult genres and/or academic sections to compose in academic writing and scholarship. In this workshop, we will explore the rhetorical work literature reviews do, analyze and discuss samples, and share strategies for writing and revising our own literature reviews. We encourage participants to bring their own literature reviews with them, especially ones they are currently working on or anticipating to work on in the future.
